Our Camps for kids ages 10-15 get underway in mid-September. It's a fantastic way for students who already play or sing to take their musicianship to the next level.
Playing with kids their age instills motivation, and our baked-in goal of playing a show at the end of term and going into the recording studio in the spring lends focus and structure to the students throughout the school year.
Listening skills improve rapidly as students bond, make new friends, and learn to work well together in dynamic environments. And it's loads of fun!

Thursdays after school at 3:30 and 4:30 (1 hour rehearsals) A perfect start for youth bands learning fun pop and rock repertoire, current and classic songs.
3:30 Band ages 10-12; 4:30 Band, ages 13-16.
Performance at our Spring Concert on Sunday, June 12 ( pending as Covid gathering protocols evolve).
There's nothing better than playing music together to bring our practice into focus and to improve musicianship. This weekly 1 hr rehearsal pacts a lot in and gives students an opportunity to learn new music together, improve listening, work in a group, learn how to choose music that's suitable and challenging, and have a great time in the process.

Paul coaches guitarists in our monthly Blues Guitar Study Group using classic songs and artists from the 20s to present. Disecting each song to understand how sound, techniques and form of the piece intersect offers a deep-dive into the heart and soul of the music.
Our class operates at a gentle pace with lots of opportunity to play rhythm and lead along with discussing anything about the music that adds insight into this foundational form of music. This small group is a great way to unearth a deeper understanding of the Blues.
