Sasha Baterina, Junior Teacher - Piano
“Music plays a major part in the world we live in today. It is a way of self expression, whether that be through just listening, playing, or creating. It is a big part of my life, and I am grateful to be able to have had the opportunity to learn an instrument. I believe it is a gift to be able to make music, and as a teacher, I hope to grow a love of music in my students.”
Sasha is excited to join South Island Studio as a Junior Teacher.
Sasha started playing the piano at 6 years old and has recently completed her Level 9 piano and theory through the Royal Conservatory of Music. Sasha has been teaching at SIS since 2023. She enjoys working with children. In addition to babysitting, she has assisted with many musical theatre camps at SIS and has been an assistant teacher for junior hip hop classes at Protege Dance Project.
Sasha is currently a grade 12 student at Glenlyon Norfolk School.
