Lonny grew up in a musical household and started playing at the age of 8. He couldn't stop, so here he is years later, playing and sharing for hours every day! He plays guitar, bass and sings and has been a professional musician for 19 years. He's performed on stages across most of Canada with artists like George Canyon, Sean Hogan, and Ken McCoy, and played countless gigs at clubs and festivals including the Merritt Mountain Music Festival on two occasions.

With 14 years of teaching experience, he has a wealth of knowledge to share with students. He's very patient with beginners and offers challenge to more advanced students in a relaxed and supportive manner. His own playing reflects his interest in blues, rock, r & b, country, and jazz! Lonny is currently playing bass in local indie rock band "ladySMITH".
